Music has always been a constant part of my life, from growing up as a crazy Michael Jackson fan to a battling streetdancer and a frequent festival visitor. Despite this, I have never really seen myself working within that creative industry, until recently.
I joined the founders of an early-stage digital music company called Amuse, from launch in test markets to pre-global release. As industry experts, they are challenging the major traditional record labels – by building a free music distribution app for artists in exchange of their listening data from music services and use machine learning algorithms to identify hit patterns, then sign tracks that show high potential - and make it a global hit.

I helped emerging artists to navigate in the digital music industry and with their music distribution. I worked with promising artists like Pawl, big african artists like D-Black, reggae legends like Eek-A-Mouse, great management companies like At Night(Avicii) and grammy awarded artists like Imogen Heap. I also networked with local artists to introduce the product before launch, which resulted in the 2nd official signing for Amuse.
Streaming services has changed the way we consume music, but also how we discover new songs and artists. But new innovation does not come without great experience. To be able to challenge the traditional majors and gatekeepers, I helped Amuse to position themselves on the market and set a digital communications plan throughout different channels.

Held workshops and built an internal site to educate & engage a couple of thousand employees in different social channels.

P&G Prestige was one of the biggest players in the beauty industry with an outstanding fragrance and cosmetics portfolio that includes Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss and many more. They later merged with Coty, now holding the number one position in fragrances and the third-largest beauty company in the world.

I led the presentation of new strategies to the client, which they called ”one of the best presentations we have seen”. I helped them kick-start their social re-brand, with record engagement for the new content. But it takes time to implement a new Social media strategy for a big corporation, and long term commitment is key. Therefore, it´s important to have clear expectations, communication and follow-ups with the client.

Granit Funktion & Förvaring is a known interior design company with lifestyle shops in different countries, with great emphasis on functionality.
“Simplify the daily life with the help of digital design.”
The assignment was to follow the User Experience methodology to bring our client a digital concept that would reflect their brand and physical products – to simplify their customers daily life.

Granit decided to go further with the final prototype from my team for development, which became their first digital product. Aim was to reduce the daily stress in having combined tasks of work- and private life. Some of the developed insights was to have a strict switch-mode to keep the right focus during the day, and being able to quickly add a new task on the go, but also to keep the physical satisfaction in checking off a task when achieved.
